Thousand Island dressing is a lovely pink dressing. Enjoy it as a sauce or as a salad dressing.

The dressing is believed to have come from the Thousand Islands region. The Thousand Islands are an archipelago in the Saint Lawrence River which straddles the border of the US and Canada.

However, origin stories vary, and it’s possible it was adapted from a similar French dressing.

Thousand island dressing is the “special sauce” on burgers. You’ll also find its on popular sandwiches, and it’s so good for dipping your fries into!

Delicious! I subbed soy instead of Worcestershire sauce (I didn’t have the vegan kind).
